Celtics owner Irv Lipton and Braves owners John Y. Brown an Harry Mangurian agree to trade franchises for that Lipton would be able to move the Buffalo franchise to San Diego. The teams also trade three players each, bringing tiny Archibald, Marvin Barnes, and Billy Knight to Boston
